We are looking for an experienced individual to join the Payroll team on a part time basis. The main purpose of the role is to run and maintain the payroll for external clients. You will assist with all payroll related matters including calculation of PAYE and NI; starters and leavers; auto enrolment duties and calculations of SSP, Maternity, Paternity and Adoption pay. We are also looking for someone with strong admin skills to help support the team with HMRC correspondence, pension admin, internal Accounts reconciliation as well as helping the clients and their employees with queries. Main Duties & Responsibilities Processing weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual payrolls as required. Arranging pension submissions on a monthly basis on behalf of clients as required Assist with Automatic Enrolment administration, as directed Reconciliation of the Year End and submission to HMRC, issuing of P60s Dealing with client, HMRC and Automatic Enrolment queries in relation to payroll matters as they arise To assist staff from other WK offices with payroll related matters, if required To potentially be involved in providing payroll training to clients, if required Requirements Knowledge, Skills & Experience Experience of working with Star Payroll Professional Ideally experience of running start to end payrolls Competent in Microsoft office, including Excel and Word Ability to prioritise workload in order to achieve work deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills To demonstrate good timekeeping skills as well as displaying a professional attitude in all aspects of their work. Ability to use initiative to assist clients without direct support; Team player, willingness to work flexibly at busy times. Able to develop good relationships with clients and within the firm Effective problem solver
