Responsibilities:
Work closely with budget holders and heads of services to provide sound advice on all financial queries. Take the lead in maximising the revenue generated by the organisation, working to find new and profitable income streams. Lead on all external financial reporting, with a view to be the front facing figure of the organisation. Set an example as the Senior Management Account to two Management Accountants in the organisation by being pro-active and clinical in your financial approach. This exciting opportunity will be reporting directly to the Head of Finance, being the 'go-to-person' for all and any external financial queries. As well as this, a written-out succession plan is already in place, to give this person the best opportunity to climb as high as they want in their career. The successful candidate will have: Qualified as an accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc.) Experience in working within a Business Partner or Management Accountancy-based role. Experience of budget management. Confident, ambitious, outgoing attributes.
