Our well established and reputable client, have extensive experience within the engineering sector and pride themselves on a customer focused attitude, based on the outskirts of Preston they are looking to expand their team with a Management Accountant, to focus on a variety of projects within the business. The highly successful engineering group with revenues now exceeding £50million pa and a strong growth plan in place, that will see the organisation seek further expansion through strategic acquisitions and international expansion. As Management Accountant you will take full responsibility for the end to end management accounting of several long-term key projects. Reporting to the Group Finance Director your key responsibilities will include: Preparation of monthly management accounts including long term profit forecasts Preparation of key management information and KPI's Production of insightful commentary on all projects under your control Preparation of annual budgets Acting as a true Finance Business Partner to key operational management, enhancing their financial awareness. Exposure to statutory and year end reporting The successful candidate will be a part qualified, ambitious accountant with a "can do attitude", be seeking a role that will encourage further development and the challenge of current working practices. Experience gained within a Project Accounting environment would be desirable but not essential.
