The Company: A well-known Wealth Management / Investment Management firm based in London. The Role: The Senior Fund Analyst will conduct long only fund Manager research with a focus on equity funds. The Senior Fund Analyst will provide analysis & fund manager recommendations for the Mutual Fund & Recommended list. Contribute to the construction of discretionary & advisory model portfolios. Provide analysis & recommendations to manager research team focusing on long only equity managers. Maintain appropriate due diligence within the relevant database. Liaise with investment counsellors & provide support. Provide regular communications on activities in the manager research space. Interview potential/existing fund managers, performing due diligence. Primary responsibility for monitoring a group of designated fund managers through on-going fund due diligence. Monitor the fund managers performance. The Candidate At least 3-4 years Proven experience in Fund Manager Research from an investment management or wealth management firm. Candidates from an investment consultancy or pension fund background will also be considered. Minimum 2:1 degree. CFA qualified. Proven experience in fund management industry. General knowledge of fund management industry. Self-motivated, organised, capable of prioritising & able to work under pressure. Well informed in respect of the markets. Demonstrable Microsoft Office skills.
