Divisional Finance Manager | South Manchester | £45k - £50k | ACA CIMA ACCA | High Growth Private Equity Environment Axon Moore have been exclusively engaged by an impressive, PE-backed Group in South Manchester as they seek to add a Finance Manager to their Commercial Finance Team. The business has significantly outperformed competitors significantly in recent years as the group continues to target both strategic acquisitions and organic growth opportunities. Supported by a market leading back office operation, and with ambitious plans for future growth, the growth story is set to continue, and the acquisition of an ambitious Finance Manager is key to these plans. Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, this role offers an ambitious qualified accountant an opportunity to join a fast paced, exciting business with direct access to senior management. The successful candidate will have ownership of weekly and monthly MI reporting, production of monthly management accounts, budgeting and forecasting, and commercial analysis for the division. Key responsibilities - Production of monthly management accounts with commentary and analysis - Production of weekly (and other ad hoc) margin and KPI reports - Preparation of annual budget with MD - Preparation of rolling 3-month forecast P&L, balance sheet and cash flow - Management of financial reporting systems to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation - Development and maintenance of internal control environment - Ongoing review of financial performance, costs and structure to identify opportunities to enhance performance - Support Group FC with technical accounting queries - Support Group CFO with acquisitions including due diligence and post-completion integration Essentials - ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified accountant - Experience of developing and improving management reporting and control environment - Understanding / experience of due diligence and acquisition integration - Commitment to accuracy and achievement of deadlines - Strong stakeholder management skills - Comfortable with travel to Group locations Desirable - Understanding of change management and project-based work including automation of manual processes - Outstanding IT skills - Financial modelling, data manipulation and reporting - Experience of introducing KPI and management reporting - Calm, professional and strong personal presence For immediate consideration or more information on the please contact Bradley at Axon Moore on
