Our diverse, energetic Finance Team are recruiting for a Credit Controller and we are keen to hear from productive candidates with a can-do attitude. Your role will include: Maintenance and reconciliation of Technical Services sales ledger Chasing overdue accounts and escalating accounts to Financial Controller / Sector Directors Liaise with sector admin teams, admin managers and customers to resolve invoice queries Maintenance of credit control notes for all overdue debt Supplying customer statements and copy invoices / credit notes as required Production of weekly debt report for review with Sector Directors Preparation of monthly debtor slides for Board pack Conduct credit checks on new customers / clients Develop & maintain a debtor escalation process Daily cash allocation to customer accounts Preparation of daily bank reconciliation Production of daily cash collection file for Group Provide administrative support to the finance team e.g. processing journals, chasing outstanding WIP invoices, reconciliation of intercompany accounts Actively contribute to the implementation of the new ERP system. What we are looking for: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High attention to detail and accuracy Tenacity Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise workload Experience of working to deadlines and effective time management Experience of ERP system / Microsoft Office This role may require Disclosure Scotland, Baseline or other similar security clearance may also be required. Hours and Environment The post is for 37.5 hours per week and be based in Edinburgh. Working hours are from 08:00am to 16:30 Monday to Friday, however additional overtime may also be required to meet the needs of the business.
