Finance Assistant - Immediate Start

£9.77 per hour Temporary Role Hours: 18 hours per week, Monday to Wednesday, 9am - 4pm Pertemps Dundee are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well know Public Sector organisation, for a Finance Assistant on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will provide a financial administration support service within the team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with purchase, sales and general ledgers. Due to the nature of this role it is required for candidates to hold a Basic/Standard Disclosure certificate issued within the last 12 months or will to apply for. Your key duties will involve: To work as a member of the team providing a financial administration support service Processing of Purchase Ledger invoices and credit notes using a financial ledger software including, checking, registering and passing for payment Raising sales ledger invoices and credit notes using the financial ledger software Recording and receipting of cash and card payments as necessary To be considered for this role, you must have the following: Previous experience working in a financial administration environment Experience of working with purchase, sales and general ledgers, also dealing with internal and external parties Experience of commitment accounting systems and/or system databases Working knowledge of Integra financial management software system Cash handling experience Educated to Standard grade or equivalent IT literate, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages If you are interested in this role please apply with your CV online or alternatively call (phone number removed) for an informal chat
