JOB DESCRIPTION Change Public Practice are working with a very well-known and respected accountancy firm in Aberdeen to recruit a Personal Tax professional to join their team. Ideally you will have worked in a similar role or have a general practice background with an interest in pursuing a career in Personal Tax and the client portfolio will be catered to your ability and level. This opportunity is open to candidates who have at least 12 months' experience in a personal tax capacity and so the client portfolio you will be responsible for working with will be tailored to the individual depending on their ability and experience. Key responsibilities in this role include:
• Working on all aspects of personal tax for a varying range of clients
• Preparation of personal tax returns and tax computations of tax liabilities
• Processing of relevant tax documentation
• Working with clients directly and relevant tax authorities
• Assisting senior members of staff with analytical duties and providing technical support
• Maintaining updated knowledge of tax legislation To be considered for this role:
• A minimum of 12 months experience in a tax specific role within a Public Practice or Bureau environment
• Studying towards ATT, CTA or ACCA qualification would be beneficial but not essential
• Strong experience within Personal Tax is essential
• A drive to work within Practice and within Personal Tax as a career
• Candidates must be suitable to working in a fast paced and demanding environment
