JOB DESCRIPTION Change Public Practice are recruiting on behalf of a Chartered Accountancy firm in Dundee City Centre who have a requirement for a Bookkeeping professional who has Xero software experience to join their team. This opportunity will suit someone who has previous experience providing bookkeeping services to a varied portfolio of clients and who also enjoys the client interaction such a role involves. In this role you will be responsible for Xero implementation for clients moving into Cloud Accounting as well as assisting them with any queries they have regarding the software. Key responsibilities will also include:
• Assisting with accounting services for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Bookkeeping and VAT compliance
• Liaise with clients to discuss their needs as well as assisting with any software queries
• Undertake a commercial approach at all times, representing the firms brand in a professional manner Requirements:
• You will be an experienced Bookkeeper or have strong bookkeeping experience gained from within a Public Practice firm i.e. Big 4, Top 10, Mid-Tier CA, Independent CA firm
• Ideally you will have a minimum of 2 years' relevant practical experience
• Strong working knowledge of Sage 50 and Xero is essential
• Client focused individual that is able to work on their own and as part of a team
• Ability and drive to travel to client sites
