COMPETITIVE SALARY UP TO £34K BENEFITS, DEFINED PROGRESSION OPPORTUNITIES ACCOUNTS & AUDIT SENIOR in WOLVERHAMPTON, WEST MIDLANDS - JO21502 Accountancy Elite are partnered with an independent firm of chartered accountants who are looking to add to their ranks with an accounts & audit senior. The role will consist of approximately 40% Audit and 60% Accounts with some corporation tax. This role will involve very little if any overnight and out of office Audit work so a good work life balance is definitely on the agenda with this firm. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned practice accountant who most importantly has experience dealing with owner managed businesses. ACCA/ACA qualified or newly qualified and QBE candidates will be considered. Audit experience is an advantage but not essential but the desire to take on Audit responsibilities is needed. Key Roles and Responsibilities
• Preparation of statutory accounts, corporation tax computations and returns for limited companies and groups and partnerships.
• Involvement in on site and in office audit work with minimal travel
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
• Preparing CT600's
• Maintenance of strong relationships with new and existing clients through regular client contact.
• Training and mentorship of junior staff Candidate Attributes:
• ACCA/ACA qualified, newly qualified or QBE.
• 4 years UK practice experience as a minimum.
• Audit experience is an advantage but not essential
• Have experience in Accounting software packages.
• Possess good IT & communication skills. Benefits: Competitive salary between £30k-£34k. Full time 35 HOURS per week. 20 days holiday statutory. Company Pension Scheme. Free on site parking.
