20 hours per week, 42 weeks per year Our client is looking for a part time accounts clerk to join their small, friendly and busy finance department. This is a part time role working during term time plus an additional 3 weeks according to operational demands. You will need to work 20 hours a week working daily Monday-Friday. Start and finish times each day are negotiable. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will take responsibility for credit control and purchasing including: Producing and issuing sales invoices Developing and maintaining good working relationships with accounts payable departments within Local Authorities and other similar organisations Reporting on the status of credit control measures and agree strategies for chasing invoices Processing authorised online and other purchase orders Assisting with petty cash preparation Handling accounts or financial queries from staff Ensuring administration associated with credit control and purchasing is up to date Our client is a Special School, College and Children's Home. They have 300 staff contributing to the lives of children, young people and adults with special needs. Their 70 students are aged 5 to 19 years old and have needs that include autism, language and communication disorders and complex learning difficulties.
