Payroll & HR Supervisor Port Talbot 40 hours per week Permanent Salary competitive, DOE ST6819 Our client is a prominent company, based within the Waste Management, Asset Recycling, and Environmental Sectors. Responsibilities:
Check for daily anomalies, absence, correct shift allocation using Time Clock. Collect and Calculate hours from weekly timesheets ensuring they concur with clocked times. To assist in weekly wage calculation so that wages are transferred on time, every time. Entry of all detail into Pegasus Opera Payroll programme. To ensure that Weekly Reports are updated in preparation for Monthly Returns to be made. To ensure that ALL staff have up to date and complete hard copy files re. Offer of Employment letter, Terms and Conditions of Employment, Opt Out form, Bullying and Harassment Policy and signed Receipt of Documents form. To ensure that ALL staff are entered onto digital Employees Details File re.Clock Number, Name, Address, Job Title, Start Date, Gender, Location, NI Number, d.o.b., Holiday Accrual, Hourly Rate (including Greasing & Travelling if applicable) and Tax Code. All reviews filed - Electronic files kept. Inductions for New Starters. Contact point for Employee enquiries. To ensure Headcount File is kept up to date including Attended Hours per department. Holidays & Absence log. Starters & Leavers Compile and digitally record entries on computer for Accounting & Inland Revenue purposes. Weekly Wage, Tax & NI Journals. RTI To ensure that Contractor Invoices have CIS payment deducted. Pay CIS deductions On -line to Inland Revenue and maintain records. Pay contractors (weekly) and on a monthly basis provide a record of Gross Earnings and Tax deducted. All payments for Wages, CIS, NI & PAYE etc. Assist Management Team in all HR related issues. Provide up to date advice on current legislation/guidelines and application thereof.
