Purchase Ledger Team Leader

£23-24,000 per annum

If you are an experienced Accounts Payable Officer, with some experience of managing the workload of a high performing team then this could be the role you are looking for. Supporting a group of transactional purchase ledger clerks, reporting on their performance and coordinating their workload, you will be highly accurate, a great team player and a professional who really leads by example. You will need to understand the commercial implications of purchase ledger management and cashflow; you will need to be able to take the ledger right through to month end, supporting the trial balance process.

Strong reporting skills will also be key; you will have robust exposure to Microsoft Excel and be confident in your ability to manipulate data via Macros, Pivot-tables and V-lookups to produce accurate and usable MI

Qualifications are not key to this role, but an excellent understanding of the transactional accounting process is.....you will need to have a proven track record in Accounts payable as well as some experience of line managing in order to be selected for interview.
