Management Accountant -Fixed Term Contract 12-15 Mnths - Cheltenham, Gloucestershire -Up to £38,000 per annum

Hays Accountancy & Finance are partnering with a leading and well-established Aerospace/Manufacturing organisation based on the outskirts of Cheltenham to recruit for a dynamic and experienced Management Accountant. A 12-15 months fixed term contract supporting the Finance Manager in a varied and hands-on position. A great opportunity to join one of Gloucestershire well-known and successful groups.

Your new role

Your key duties will involve month-end close of the accounts in SAP, monthly reporting to Head Office along with reviewing performance versus budget with internal teams and the wider business. You will prepare, and analyse monthly expenditure and program reports along with forecasting and budgeting for accounts and overheads. You will be expected to support claims from external funding bodies along with ad-hoc reporting, financial analysis and reconciliations. You will build relationships with internal finance teams, head office along with engineering managers to support in financial processes and reporting.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this exciting Management Accountant opportunity you will need experience within a similar role, ideally part-qualified/qualified CIMA/ACCA with strong experience of SAP. You will have strong MS Excel skills with an analytical working approach with key problem-solving skills. You will need strong communication skills to partner with internal finance teams and the wider business along with being able to work towards time-constraint deadlines. Any experience within the Aerospace/Manufacturing sector would be advantageous.

What you'll get in return

This hands-on fixed term contract is offering salary between £34,000 - £38,000 per annum based on the outskirts of Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.
