Our client, a leading FMCG business are currently recruiting for an ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified Accountant to join their Commercial Finance team. This is a great opportunity to Qualify Maintenance of the asset schedules and registers, and all associated journal postings Preparation of monthly accruals and prepayments Responsibility for the UK inter-company matrix and necessary inter-company consolidation journal entries Assisting in the support of the preparation of the management accounts pack Liaising across finance teams to investigate variances and understand monthly, quarterly and annual movements Preparation and posting of other required month end journals, and responsibility to ensure adequate accounting working papers and records maintained Reconciliations Responsibility for ensuring all balance sheet reconciliations are accurate, complete and prepared in line with the month end timetable. Including the investigation of reconciling items. Assistance with the year-end audit and half year interim review, and preparation of associated audit schedules requested by auditors Liaise with the auditors and answer any queries where possible The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training .
