Supplying Management, Technical and Operational Support Systems to a broad range of Customers, that's spread across multiple Industrial and Governmental sectors, our client is actively seeking to recruit a Bookkeeper Administrator to join their Alton, Hampshire based team. Required to work between 30 and 37.5 hours a week the Bookkeeper Administrator will be expected to competently carry out the Companies routine Purchase and Sales Invoicing, Credit Control, and Banking responsibilities and assist the with HMRC, Pension and Payroll activities. Maintaining financial targets, systems, and procedures, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the companies Sage 50 accounts system , and as needed obtaining and transferring accounts data across database systems. In addition to the above, and in support of business operations, you will be called upon to conduct routine reception type duties these will include, answering and handling incoming calls, meeting and greeting Client Customers and Visitors and handling or routing inbound email correspondence and enquiries. As a Confident, Polite, Reliable and Professional Bookkeeper Administrator you will largely be left to structure and manage your own work load. You will proactively handle day to day financial tasks and in support of business operations readily provide support for routine Reception and Administration tasks. The ideal candidate will have good time management skills and will importantly have: - Sage Line 50 Accounts experience Competent user knowledge of MS Office software, email, and the Internet Excellent verbal, written, and inter-personal communication skills An eye for accuracy and detail, will be analytical and possess the ability meet deadlines An ability to work well on your own or, as needed, as part of a Team Note due to the sensitivity and nature of some of the Companies leading Clients, after the completion of a successful probationary period the employee will be required to undergo high level security checks and clearances. Working Monday to Friday between a minimum of 30 hours and maximum of 37.5 hours subject to suitability and experience the position will pay between £10.75p and £12 /hour.Based on a 37.5 hour working week this equates to between £21,000 and £23,400 per annum. (Based on a 30-hour working week this would equate to between £16,770 and £18,720 per annum). The position will include a full package of statutory entitlements and benefits.
