Billing Co-ordinator Liverpool Full Time, Perm Up to £40,000 A global law firm are looking for you to support significant cross-border and cross-practice client relationships in line with their commitment to delivering exceptional client billing service. You will be monitoring instructions and activity, supporting billing and reporting requirements, facilitating communications across global relationships teams and enhancing their overall approach to managing clients. Duties: Engage with teams working on multi office client matters to confirm billing arrangements, embed client service commitments and ensure we operate in line with the client's billing guidelines. Build strong relationships with internal staff Ensure all international client billing plans and strategies are seamless. Monitor instructions, tracking client activity and billing requirements, Utilise the systems such as the Aderant Billing Software and Solutions Portal to store documents, gather, analyse and review information Understand, clarify and communicate billing requirements Liaise with finance teams across all offices Manage billing deadlines for specific client relationships, ensuring all fee earners submit required info before deadline expiry, leaving time for review and submission. Create high level engagement reports for the relationship team, and client. Work closely with the BD team Manage ad hoc reporting requests Work with client and supervising partners to help create matter plans routinely as per client guidelines, keeping the finance team up to date. Person Specifics: Experience of operating in a similar role within professional services is essential, together with a passion for excellent client service. Legal sector experience is desirable, but not essential. Client legal billing/revenue background and excellent communications skills. Highly organised Self-motivated Good problem-solving skills Team player Ability to successfully build relationships Excellent attention to detail and high professional standards.
