Payroll Manager - 12 Month Contract
A leading firm based in the Chesterfield area are looking for a manager to join the payroll department with experience of process improvement, although experience of payroll would be a distinct advantage it is not essential as the focus of the role will be to drive change management over the course of a 12-month contract. The role requires someone who is going to take the time to understand the current processes of the department before driving change across the team which the firm hope will improve overall efficiency. You will work with the existing team to identify opportunities to improve existing services through increasing quality and/or reducing costs and identify new services that can be more effectively and efficiently delivered. You be willing to be flexible to cover the team if required, not afraid to get your hands dirty and build a team that are empowered to take responsibility. The role could suit a variety of people, but it is essential that you are able to demonstrate change management within previous roles.
