Competitive, plus bonus, plus excellent benefits Our client is a fast moving, diverse and high-profile Transport Infrastructure operator who are also market leaders in their sector, now looking to grow their established and highly regarded Finance Team, in particular our client is looking to appoint an Investment Finance Analyst to join and support the business with its capital investment programme. The Role: Reporting to the Investment Finance Manager, this role forms part of a wider team of Investment Finance Analysts and requires you to work closely with colleagues across the many teams in Finance as well as the wider business. The role will be focused on the development of the investment case, analysis of risks and opportunities to the business and individual project appraisals. It is also a high-profile role within the Finance Team and one with a clear career path.

Responsibilities:

• Support project management of the investment case
• Record, evidence, and quantify all assumptions underpinning the investment case
• Operate and input into financial models used for the investment case
• Support workstream activities: traffic, commercial, opex, capex, depreciation
• Prepare materials for review by internal and external stakeholders
• Support evaluation of risks and opportunities to the investment case
• Support integration into the investment case and alignments across workstreams
• Document business cases analysis
• Prepare materials for review by internal and external stakeholders
• Contribute to high quality reports and presentations
• Support preparing financial disclosures and reporting for external stakeholders Experience/ Qualifications:
• Qualified Accountant: ACA, ACCA, CIMA (Chartered Financial Analyst: CFA - beneficial)
• Proven experience of Financial modelling and Project Management
• Attention to detail and an appetite to explore solving problems, analytical judgement
• Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to engage, network, challenge and influence key stakeholders
• Excellent Communication and Presentation skills
• Experience of Design and Build of analysis tools
• Ability to interrogate and audit Excel models Experience
• Experience in analytical, financial roles covering full P&L and balance sheet, where a strategy background in major airport/aviation/rail etc would be beneficial
