Marshall Moore are currently working in partnership with a well-established, global company who are based in Liverpool city centre. The Assistant Management Accountant will be joining a successful and supportive team and will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of financial statements and accounts, budgeting and preparing VAT returns. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company who not only offer a comfortable and collaborative working environment, study support is available for candidates who are currently pursuing their professional qualifications (ACCA/CIMA). The Assistant Management Accountant will be responsible for:
• Posting monthly journals, accruals and prepayments
• Monthly management reporting and reconciliations
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Budget production and updating quarterly forecasts
• Cash reporting
• Bank reconciliations
• Monthly and quarterly VAT and EC Sales lists
• Credit card reconciliations and expense postings Ideally you will have/be:
• Previous experience in a similar environment including reconciliations, working with accruals and prepayments
• Part-Qualified ACCA/CIMA
• Strong IT skills including MS Excel (Pivots and vLookups)
• Excellent analytical and numerical abilities
