My client, an internationally recognised company, is seeking to recruit an Assistant Financial Accountant in a highly visible role reporting to director level. This role prepares and reports the company's financial accounts on a monthly basis with adherence to current UK GAAP policies and procedures. There is a Group structure and so attention to strict timescales is essential. Duties will include, but not be excluded to:
• Preparing balance sheets
• Preparing budgets/forecasts
• Variance analysis
• Cash flows
• Liaising with External Auditors
• Weekly trading reports
• Accruals/Prepayments and Journals
• Balance sheet reconciliations You will also be assisting with other ad hoc project work as it arises.
