Our client is a well-established business with a friendly finance team based on the outskirts of Huntingdon. They are currently looking for someone to join the team in a key role that will provide support to the head of the accounts team. Your duties will be varied and will include; Assisting with month end company and plc reporting Preparation of management accounts Preparation of statutory financial statements Working on internal and external audit preparation Preparation and submission of statutory HMRC returns Supporting the annual budget preparation Monitoring capital applications and forecasts Working on ad hoc projects This is an important position that will have some staff oversight and experience of managing people would be a distinct advantage. A proven background in producing management accounts, producing financial information and UK GAAP accounting standards is essential to the success of this role. If you are studying, then study support will be on offer to the successful candidate, but people who are AAT qualified or qualified by their experience are also invited to apply. Strong Excel skills are essential and experience of JD Edwards would be a bonus, but not essential.
