Our Public Services Group, newly formed in April as one of the firm's three market facing groups, delivers services to Housing, Higher Education and Charities as well as local government and health. It comprises a team of 500 nationally, with just over 100 specialists based in London. The successful Director will sit within this team in London and will be client facing, winning work, as well as delivering external audits for a portfolio of existing clients within the Housing, Higher Education and Charities sectors. Job Description: What you'll be doing: As Director, you'll take the lead on dealing with large, technically complex clients You'll act as a trusted business adviser to our clients You'll be leading client meetings with senior members of our clients' workforce, including Chief Executives and Finance Directors You'll oversee all aspects of client engagement assuming overall responsibility for allocating work You'll work with our Senior Managers and Managers to ensure they're being supported and coached, whilst identifying any areas for development Who we're looking for: You'll hold a professional accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) You'll have experience of auditing clients within the Housing, Higher Education and Charities sectors You'll have significant senior level experience and the ability to manage a large portfolio of audit clients, whilst leading a team You'll have experience of leading and managing audits of varying sizes across a range of not for profit sectors including Housing, Higher Education and Charities A genuine interest in our clients with an ability to confidently discuss business challenges and needs You will contribute as part of a senior management team that is growing our business into new markets and service areas We have an open and collaborative culture and as such, you need the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with colleagues and clients at all levels Passionate about supporting, advising and helping businesses achieve their potential, you'll be someone who wants to make a difference and shape your career and a Vibrant Economy.
