Finance Manager Edinburgh Initial 3 month contract £250 per day (Inside IR35) Key duties will include:
• Reconciling payroll and suspense accounts;
• Supporting system maintenance;
• Reviewing transactions and liaising with FBPs and Procurement
• Supporting the Annual Business Planning round Experience:
• A professional finance qualification; either qualified AAT or part qualified CCAB or CIMA Accountant and/or qualified by experience;
• Experience in analysis of data e.g. payroll and possess the ability to reconcile data sources and resolve outstanding balancing items;
• Excellent communication skills and an ability to interact and engage with internal stakeholders;
• Experience of, or an aptitude for, working with accounting and other software preferably including Sun Accounting system and Vision/Q&A; and electronic purchase ordering systems; and
• Being proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including the use of Excel at an advanced level.
• A good knowledge of business planning and budget monitoring
• The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate a competence in financial modelling including the use of Excel and other relevant tools. We look forward to receiving your application
