The Role We are pleased to be working with a well established firm of Chartered Accountants, Tax Advisors and Registered Auditors who are seeking to appoint an Audit and Accounts Manager to lead an existing team and manage a growing portfolio of clients, based mostly in the London area, with some across the UK and internationally. You will be responsible for all aspects of the jobs, from planning, field work, communicating with clients, and finalisation. You will be involved with setting and ensuring budgets are met and team and individual performance targets are achieved. The role is pivotal to the firms growth plans and therefore the position is seen as a stepping stone to an associated Directors role and more. It will also provide the opportunity to gain an in depth knowledge within a mixed tax environment. This will include dealing with Corporation Tax, Self Assessment, VAT, compliance and advisory services. You will be given the opportunity to meet with clients alongside senior members of the team. Personal requirements Due to the nature of the role we are seeking Chartered Accountant (ACA) who has the skills to manage both jobs and staff. You will have the following skills/experience:- Good technical knowledge of accounting standards and audit methodology Good excel skills Knowledge of Caseware would be useful, but not essential Excellent communicate skills Ability to motivate and manage a team Good administrative and organisational skills An eye for detail A "yes" attitude An ambition to secure a long-term career in private practice Due to the large numbers of responses we receive and despite our best efforts, it is not possible to respond to every application.
