Description The role requires the successful candidate to be responsible for: regulatory responsibility as a Sponsor, including providing confirmations and liaising with the UKLA as and when required; the day-to-day client relationship across a growing portfolio of listed clients; and the execution phases of equity capital market and M&A transactions together with supporting the negotiation phase of such transactions. The team provides a full range of corporate broking and advisory services and the role will involve a range of activities including: advising corporate clients on the impact of the Listing Rules, the Takeover Code and other relevant rules and regulations; liaising with the relevant regulatory bodies on behalf of corporate clients; day-to-day liaison with corporate clients regarding stock market trends and developments; drafting and reviewing relevant corporate finance and related transactional documentation; preparing and reviewing complex financial and valuation models for potential corporate client opportunities; project managing and executing transactions including IPOs, secondary fundraisings and M&A; preparing and delivering marketing presentations to new potential corporate clients and other related activities; marketing to connectors and potential corporate clients; supporting other members of the team as necessary with analysis, research and due diligence; and overseeing junior team members. The successful candidate will be given ample opportunity to communicate and work with corporate clients, other advisers and senior members of the firm. The role provides constant exposure to the UK equity capital markets including institutional investors. Experience Candidates must be a Sponsor and are likely to be currently working in a corporate broking/ finance team (investment bank/ corporate broker/ capital markets boutique) and have 8-10 years of experience. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate expert knowledge of the Listing Rules, strong communication/ team working skills, have strong project management, modelling and analytical skills and be able to work independently and autonomously.
