Job Description: As a Manager in our IT Audit team you'll be responsible for auditing technology risks and undertaking data analytics for key clients across the corporate, financial services and public sectors. Depending on the size of the client you'll work independently, or as part of a wider team. What you'll be doing: you'll be responsible for developing the approach to IT risk on a portfolio of clients and building and maintaining good working relationships with all colleagues and clients you'll manage a team of IT auditors on specific assignments, with specific line management responsibility for a group of employees to ensure IT audit work is appropriately completed to satisfy audit objectives you'll assist the audit partners in understanding IT audit risk, developing a data analytical approach and overall scope of IT audit services you'll ensure that key matters which arise during the IT audit which were not identified at the planning stage are properly assessed and dealt with you'll check that IT audit work papers been properly reviewed and that work is completed to budget and timetable you'll manage, motivate and coach team members and provide feedback through regular communication and timely appraisal you'll assist in the production and presentation of proposals for new work designing the needed IT audit approach and showcasing data analytics capability you'll be responsible for delivering basic IT audit training to the non IT audit team to enable the IT audit team to focus on those clients of high risk and complexity Who we're looking for: you'll have significant experience of undertaking external audits (i.e. IT General Controls) and / or IT internal audits (minimum criteria) you'll be professionally qualified (CISA and / or ACA, CA, ACCA) (minimum criteria) you'll understand risk management process & treatment - especially in terms of highlighting threats and raising recommendations to mitigate risks you'll be familiar with key financial systems and supporting software including ERP (e.g. SAP, Oracle) and non-complex such as Agresso, Civica and Sage etc you'll have some exposure to data analytics software, for example: - IDEA or ACL - Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, SAS or similar (or be willing to learn) you'll have experience developing and coaching less experienced team members in IT Audit and risk management You should be commercially focused with the ability to deliver innovative solutions. You should be focused on self-development as well as having the desire to coach, mentor and develop your colleagues.
