To £47,000 Benefits Utilities Warwickshire The Company A FTSE 250 global utilities group and one of the UKs largest employers is keen to attract a Project Accountant to join one of their divisions to provide financial support to projects across the team. The Role The Project Accountant is responsible for the delivery of effective accounting and commercial support to the Group Project team working closely with Project Managers to ensure the financial performance and maximise returns of the investment portfolio. Duties will include: Ensuring that projects forecasts are tracked to mitigate any risks, undertaking variance analysis and financial evaluation to drive improved project performance Track accuracy of actual costs incurred Support non-finance stakeholders with planning, forecasting and budgeting Monitor and control of capital expenditure Financial reporting of projects from beginning to completion The Candidate Qualified or finalist CIMA /ACCA/ACA Proven experience in supporting the forecasting and financial performance of projects Excellent accounting skills with ability to demonstrate understanding and interpretation of key financial statements Knowledge of SAP would be a distinct advantage Ability to demonstrate initiative with flexible and proactive approach to work as this role will mainly be working independently How to Apply If you are seeking genuine career advancement within a listed environment and the opportunity to work with a global leader, please apply attaching your full CV in Word format and quote your current remuneration details, quoting reference 371851.
