Assistant Management Accountant - Caerphilly Urgently Required £25,000 - £35,000 DOE 5 - 6 Months Temporary Assignment Do you have previous experience of working within a Management Accounting role? The role is being offered on a temporary basis for 5-6 months, with the possibility of an extension for the successful candidate. Working as part of a busy finance team, you will be required to report into the Head of Management Accounts on day to day basis to ensure reliability and quality of the management reporting. Key responsibilities will include: 1) Assisting with the production of monthly management accounts 2) Control of budgets and forecasts to ensure efficiencies within the organisation 3) Investigate all variances from budget and ensure prompt resolution 4) Provide a first class service to all budget holders and meet with Heads of Department on a monthly basis to discuss performance 5) Ensure compliance with finance policies and other service level agreements 6) Balance sheet control account reconciliations 7) Accruals/pre-payments 8) Maintaining the fixed asset register and property register 9) VAT Returns 10) Assist in preparation of yearly financial statements and budget setting 11) Maintenance of the financial systems This is a superb opportunity to work with a highly respected organisation in the local area.
