Are you experienced in working on DFID funded projects? Do you have a real flair for project accounting? If so, please read on Robertson Bell Finance are working with one of the leading brand names in international development on an exciting Interim Project Accountant position to join their high performing team. The International Project Accountant will be responsible for working with regional offices and producing financial reports for a major grant from DFID. This is an exciting time to join an organisation who have secured a major grant and are leading the sector when it comes to expanding their reach. The Interim Project Accountant will oversee project reporting and forecast for projects running globally funded from the major grant they have just secured. As the main point of contact for this project, you will be heavily involved in leading and setting things up. Providing management information to global project managers and ensuring DFID funding is maximised is a key responsibility, as is building relationships and capacity internationally. On top of this you will be responsible for two country office finances. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, CIPFA or ACCA) who has strong budgeting, reporting and forecasting experience. In addition to this, experience of having worked on DFID funded projects previously is critical. You will need to be available to start immediately or with a short notice period.
