The role We are looking for a part-qualified Assistant Finance Manager to join our team in Hemel Hempstead working for a large local Government Business Unit. Key
Responsibilities:
Stakeholder management with Business Unit Heads, Account Managers and Central Finance. Full management reporting for a large local Government Business Unit, covering strategic planning, budgeting, moth-end, DSO management, forecasting, audits and balance sheets. Process and system improvement. Ensure that contract/project set-up and transaction recording is in accordance with relevant accounting policies, group measurement rules, and that corporate procedures are followed Actively monitor business performance. Ensure follow-up of issues, with relevant managers Ensure effective engagement with customers as required. Skills and experience needed to be successful in this role include: 3 Years of Pre-Qualified Experience. (Minimum) Forecasting and performance reviews experience Strong stakeholders and client relationship management skills Exceptional verbal and written presentation and communication skills Responding positively to tight deadlines, working additional hours where necessary to meet requirements to a high standard Experience of working on projects in a financial capacity Demonstrate the ability to influence at all levels. Consistent track record of meeting and exceeding objectives Evidence of process and performance innovation and improvement. Effective Business Partnering Excellent Communication Skills
