Hays Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for a leading manufacturer in the South Lincolnshire area. This is an exciting newly created role with plenty of development opportunities.

Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the role will see you take a leading role in providing the senior management team with information and reports and will involve extensive liaison with staff at all levels from shop floor to the board including working with/challenging information with operational teams. Key tasks will include; financial transaction processing, reconciling spending with budget/job costing, financial performance analysis and forecasting, providing advice for management financial decision making, costings, KPI's and reporting.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have strong communication and influencing skills and not be afraid of challenging operational teams on cost and spend or presenting to the Board, you will naturally be good at spotting process improvement opportunities to drive down costs and improve efficiencies. You will have highly effective planning, organisational and time management skills and be able to follow procedures effectively working under pressure. To join this small effective finance team you will be friendly, approachable and flexible, a team player, proactive, positive, enthusiastic and can do with natural commercial awareness.

You will be ACCA/CIMA part-qualified or AAT qualified, have Excel skills to an intermediate/advanced level and ideally have 1 years+ management accounts experience within a Manufacturing or similar environment. Alternatively you could be a commercially focused accounts professional looking to make a move from practice to industry. The company are happy to train and develop the successful applicant.
