Senior Accounts Assistant Permanent - Full time Change Recruitment has an exciting opportunity with a highly innovative and forward thinking client based in Edinburgh City Centre. They are looking for an eager, enthusiastic and experienced accounts assistants/book keepers to join their growing business on a permanent basis as a Customer Support Accountant. Where you will help and support existing customers with any system and accounting queries. This role would suit someone who is looking to move away from your traditional accounting role and has a good mixture of accounting experience with excellent customer services skills. On a daily basis responsibilities will include: Ø Providing front-line support via email, online chat and phone, and responding accurately, promptly and fully to customer queries Ø Providing training to customers by way of outbound calls Ø Proactively contacting users to see if they need assistance Ø Assisting with product planning and with testing of new features or upgrades to existing functionality Ø Overtime build up the skills and the confidence to deliver webinars and seminars to customers. Key skills and knowledge: Ø Be prepared to go the extra mile and enjoy providing first-rate customer service Ø Robust knowledge of accounting processes, supported by substantial hands-on experience in something like an accounts assistant or bookkeeping role Ø Have excellent listening skills Ø Possess excellent spoken and written communication skills; in particular, be able to explain accounting concepts in plain clear English Ø Be highly computer-literate and web-savvy, understanding that online engagement is crucial to the success of any business Ø Have experience of working with small businesses, possess a clear understanding of their issues, and have a keen interest in how the right financial software can help them For more information and a confidential chat, please contact me directly
