Heyland Recruitment are working alongside this global specialist within the manufacturing sector as they look to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant into their growing Finance Team at their Head office location in Warrington. The Assistant management Accountant will be required to provide key support to the wider finance function and will ensure the financial and management accounts are maintained in line with company policy and that month end reporting processed are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller the Assistant Management Accountant will be responsible for... Management of local financial accounts preparation respective documentation Month end / year end closing and reporting of financial statements Analysis and reporting of monthly operational result to local management Produce and communicate monthly forecasts to local management Produce and review the preparation of reports to Government agencies Full VAT remit Ensure adherence to internal controls to safeguard the company's assets Assist with internal and external audit information requests Assist in the preparation of the annual budget Assist with local statutory accounts preparation and tax requirements Provide cover for Accounts Assistant as required (AP, AR, bank account management) Any other duties as required in line with the needs of the business Required Attributes/ Experience; Part qualified ACCA / CIMA or qualified by experience Previous experience working within a fast paced finance team Results orientated Strong Excel skills Effective communication skills Previous experience with SAP (Desirable)
