Description

As an Assistant Accountant based from the Aldershot, Hampshire office you will be responsible for:

Management Accounts

• Assisting with the preparation of management accounts information, as required.
• Assist with the preparation of the weekly, daily and monthly balance sheet reconciliations

• Updating any KPI's essential to the department's performance.

Reconciliations

• Carry out the daily bank reconciliations in accordance with Finance Policies.

• Assist with the preparation of the weekly, daily and monthly balance sheet reconciliations

Purchase Ledger

• Ensure the posting and processing of receipts and payments relating to Head Office.

• Ensure cheques and BACS payments are prepared for signature.

• Assist with recurring payments

• Implement echarges, as required.

• Ensure payments Fees and Charges are raised timely.

Sales Ledger

• Prepare direct debits (including loading of budgets onto the computer system.

• Assist with raising adhoc charges as required

• Raise refunds and carry out transaction matching on accounts.

• Assist the Credit Controller with the recording of incoming cash receipts, includes standing orders & bank transfers.

Job Offer

Salary £23,000-£28,000, Study Support Package. Level of experience taken into consideration with salary

Great Hours and Holiday Days offered. Hours 9-5, 35 hour week, 27 days holiday with bank holidays on top so 35 days holiday a year. Plus other Benefits
