Assistant Management Accountant

Our client is a not-for-profit set up to help the people of South Wales. They are recruiting an Assistant Management Accountant to provide interim cover following an increase in workload.
Your new role
Based just outside of Cardiff you will provide assistance to the Management Accountant, ensuring reliability and quality of management accounts reports, ensuring reporting data is maintained appropriately and to provide an efficient and flexible finance support for the Association and its subsidiaries to achieve related corporate objectives.
- Preparation of monthly Subsidiary financial reports.
- Prepare management accounts packs for various teams
- To maintain financial systems of information as designated by the Management Accountant
- Balance sheet control account reconciliations
- Maintaining the fixed asset and property registers
- VAT return preparation
- Assist in the preparation of yearly financial statements and budget setting
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a part/fully qualified with experience of working in a finance team either in processing or in a reporting capacity. Good understanding of finance reporting systems. Ability to work with minimal supervision and give appropriate recommendations and information to Management Accountant.
