As a fast growing national tax advisory practice, we are looking to recruit a Trainee Tax Associate to be based in our Newcastle office. We are a national network of tax specialists with offices in London and North, providing a range of tax advice to clients and their advisers across the UK. Incorporated in 2008, we are a firm of chartered accountants and employ a range of experts including accountants, solicitors and tax advisers, and our Directors have a Big 4 heritage. We have longstanding relationships across the UK with accountancy and tax firms, law firms and financial advisers with a focus on exceptional client service and delivery. Key duties and

responsibilities:
To provide both administrative and technical support to Tax Associates, either as part of the team or individually. The role plays a vital part in the maintaining and developing comprehensive information for clients using our CRM system and other bespoke software. To monitor and report on activities and provide relevant information to the team is also an essential part of the role. Provide a positive and active support function to facilitate Tax Advisors in the achievement of targets, ensuring tight deadlines are adhered to; Deal with professional 3rd parties /clients and outside agencies in a professional and courteous manner, in person, on the telephone, or via email; Update and accurately manage computer system and log introducer/client data, to provide accurate information to introducers/clients and Fee Earners; Prepare source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information; establishing entry priorities. Requirements: Demonstrates strong organisational skills and attention to details; Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients (verbal and written communication); Ability to work on own initiative and highlight issues as they arise; Ability to work as part of a team and prioritise work to enable team deadlines to be met; Ability to plan and organise work well, and ability to prioritise; Enthusiastic / motivated / self-confident; Ability to deliver excellent client service; Desire to study a Tax qualification e.g. ATT/CTA will be useful but not essential.
