We are currently looking for a Client Bookkeeper / Finance Manager to work for a friendly Bookkeeping practice based in North Bristol (Not far from Cribbs Causeway) Hours of work are Monday - Friday 37 hours per week with an element of flexi-time if required, Pension Contributions, 20 days holiday per year plus public holidays plus an extra day for your birthday if it falls on a working day Lovely office premises with views and free parking. Business IT equipment provided to take on-site to clients as and when required. About us We are a friendly team of Bookkeepers who enjoy sharing our knowledge with each other as a team. We are a growing practice within Bristol (where your base will be) with a small satellite office in Somerset. We have been running since 2009 and have a vast variety of clients from Pubs, Café's, Telecomms to Web Developers and Charities. As an expanding business we have created this new role to meet the needs of our ever growing client base. Role This role is ideal for an experienced Bookkeeper / Finance Manager who is looking for a new challenge who enjoys varied work and a rewarding work environment. You will be assigned your own client base (usually around 5 - 10 clients depending on level of work required) so you can fully manage there expectations and really get to know the business you are providing bookkeeping services for. As well as working from our Bristol office you will be willing to work on-site at client's premises local to Bristol. Main tasks will include: Bookkeeping to Trial Balance Bank Reconciliation Cash flow management Preparing VAT returns Resolving bookkeeping queries and liaising with clients Preparing management accounts Requirements: Our successful candidate will be a qualified or QBE Bookkeeper with excellent attention detail and an accurate worker. You should be competent in using XERO and Sage accounting software on a daily basis. Experience of using Receipt Bank (Desirable) Ability to work alone and as part of a team Good organisational skills and IT skills Be self-motivated and proactive Be punctual and reliable Ability to understand the importance of confidentiality Your own car which you are happy to use for business travel Next Steps If this sounds like you, please do apply.
