A global market leading business based in Maidenhead are looking for a Group Financial Controller to head up their international finance function. This role requires someone with a strong group consolidation background. Key

responsibilities:
Revaluation of ledger and control over foreign currency exposure Review daily balances and invest / disinvest as appropriate Foreign exchange, Foreign payments & Foreign receipts Management of Group borrowings and cash management Forward Exchange contracts Annual tax computations Alpha tax software used Management effective tax computation Calculate tax in monthly management accounts and Statutory Accounts Liaise with HMRC Coordinate tax computation / return reviews with tax consultants General involvement in year-end statutory and group reporting Assist with audit pack completion Statutory Accounts preparation Liaise with external auditors on operational level Coordinate and assist with input onto Group reporting system (Hyperion) Primary point of contact for Hyperion queries in the UK office Produce monthly management report for the UK Group of companies Participate in finance committee and Board of directors meetings Prepare and/or review materials and minutes of meetingsRequirements: Qualified chartered accountant (ICAEW or ACCA or similar equivalent from overseas) Strong group consolidation experience Excellent technical accounting skills Ideally experience with an international accounting function Exposure and aptitude towards commerce and trade, good communication skills, active and agile.By applying you will be registered as a candidate with Marc Daniels Specialist Recruitment Limited.
