Role summary of this Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk role Our West Byfleet based client is the largest independent company of its kind. They are looking for a Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk to work within their finance team. You will be fully accountable for the purchase ledger and associated processes, from purchase orders through to invoices and statement reconciliations. Key responsibilities of this Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk role Oversee ledger processing Make payments via BACS and cheques Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details Reconciliation of supplier statements Own and action invoice filing Data Entry First point of contact for all purchase ledger related queries Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers Review systems and processes Key attributes of this Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk role Team Player Problem Solver Energetic and self-motivated Ability to work in a fast moving technical environment Work in a highly pressured environment Good communication skills AAT Qualified 5 years of experience in a purchase ledger clerk role in an SME environment Sage (or an equivalent) Proficient in MS Office Please note the hours are as follows: Monday-Friday 8.30am-5.30pm Please note: As you can appreciate we are currently overwhelmed with applications and we can therefore only contact those applications that have relevant skills for positions that we currently have available.
