KCR Solutions are looking to recruit a Finance Officer for an excellent client in North Shields. Contract - 14 month maternity cover Salary - £18,000 to £22,000 Responsibilities Financial Operations Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures Protect Company proprietary and confidential information Cash allocations and Bank Reconciliations UK Credit Control Manage customer receipts (credit card, direct debit & other sources), ensuring payments are appropriately allocated Identify, communicate and collect receivables for delinquent accounts Monitor and validate all billing transactions from multiple systems issuing adjustments as needed Interface with internal sales and customer service teams on customer enquiries Research and resolve customer enquiries and any payment discrepancies Perform account/payment reconciliations Management of credit lines with customer and partners including credit checking Reporting Aged debt ageing and reporting analysis Seek opportunities for continuing improvements and streamlining Reporting and business processes to enable management to more Effectively and efficiently manage our customers and partners Education & Experience Requirements: Qualified or part qualified Accountant, or similar Credit Control accreditation Finance/Accounting experience, Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook Strong written, communication and interpersonal skills Must be detail oriented, with ability to multi-task and problem solve Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and be a self-starter Ability to develop relationships with key contributors within, and outside of the Company
