Job Details
The client are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager/Company Accountant to run their organisations finances for a 9 month period, covering maternity. The role will work 3 days per week from their offices in Colchester with the remaining days working from home.
Client Details
The client are an established and specialist Winery who have been established for over 100 years. They are offering 2 days per week working from home and seeking someone who is at the end of their studies to run the companies finances. There will be a months handover with the outgoing candidate to ensure a smooth transition.

The Key Responsibilities:
- Purchase Ledger
- Sales Ledger
- Reconciliation (Bank, Balance-sheet, Cash-book)
- Credit Control
- Management Accounts (accrual, prepayments, budgets & forecasts)
- Financial Accounting (statutory accounting, balance-sheet reconciliation)
- Bookkeeping
Profile
The successful candidate will be at the end of their studies (ACCA/CIMA) and be available to commute to their offices in Colchester for 3 days per week. The candidate will also have experience in a previous role as a Accounting Manager/Bookkeeper/Accountant and be a good team-player.
Experience on Navision is advantageous.
Job Offer
On offer to the candidate will be a competitive salary ranging between £32,000 - £38,000. This role will require you to spend 3 days in the office, with the remaining days spent home working! Apply now!
