Financial Accountant job in Edinburgh, paying between £36,000 and £40,000 for an initial 12-month contract.

This locally established company based in the Edinburgh city centre are looking to continue their consistent growth in a competitive market with a high turnover and high value products, offering an authentic-style working environment. Due to maternity cover, an initial 12-month contract Financial Accountant is needed for the Scottish business.


Your new role
You will be providing efficient and professional accounting services and organisational support to the Finance Director and the Company. You will have direct responsibility for staff and areas of work within the Finance Department to ensure high quality customer service is delivered throughout all stages of their experience.


What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience in a similar role, overseeing the management of accounts and working alongside a finance team will lead to your success. You will have a strong track record in having a hands on approach to any role and be willing to assist in the implementation of bigger projects within the business. You should be able to work with different systems or willing to learn how each of their systems work. Your strong leadership skills will help to maintain the smooth running of the Finance department and positively impact the wider business.


What you'll get in return
