Our client is a leading international Marketing/Events Agency located in London's West End. Due to growth across their team, an opportunity has arisen for a Bookkeeper to join their accountancy division.

Description

Located in London's West End, our client is looking for a Bookkeeper with responsibility for the following duties;

Bookkeeping duties including sales, purchase and nominal ledger maintenance and reconciliation.
Reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts on Xero on a daily basis.
Running the supplier invoice list from the purchase order system and importing invoices to Xero
Reconciling supplier statements.
Adjusting for exchange rate currency differences.
Processing the weekly payments run.
Assist with raising sales invoices.
Assist with credit control as required
Managing childcare online accounts.
Preparation, review and submission of quarterly VAT Returns.
Assisting with the production of quarterly management information.
For each project:
Reviewing records entered by project managers on a purchase order system for accuracy
Liaise with project managers during and after events checking budget versus actual expenditure.
Checking exchange rate effect on budget when an event supplier is outside UK.

Profile

The ideal candidate:

Previous accounting experience gained within a media project management environment is preferable.
Experienced bookkeeper with at least AAT Level 4 qualification (or equivalent)
Knowledge of Xero accounting software preferable.

Job Offer

Salary of £30,000-£33,000
