Assistant Tax Manager for Tax & Compliance in the Group Finance Team of a global shipping business in London

Your new company
Global shipping company headquartered in the Far East is looking for a Tax Manager in the London office situated in Canary Wharf.

Your new role
Reporting to the Statutory Accounting Manager in the role as Assistant Tax Manager, you will be responsible for the global groups tax obligations across the Europe & African regions and will provide real time tax support to the business. You will monitor and manage regional tax compliance for international VAT matters and corporate income taxes which will include the preparation, filing of VAT/CIT returns and making payments insuring timely and accurate compliance.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be expected to be a chartered accountant or chartered tax adviser with a recognised qualification (ACA and/or CTA qualification is preferred); You will have sufficient experience in international tax compliance having worked in either a commercial tax team or professional services firm.
