The role of the new Finance Business Partner will be to work closely with the managers of the business unit. The main aims are to drive performance improvement and report financial information. The ideal candidate for the role will confidently be able to challenge senior stakeholders in the business on issues such as costing etc.

Description

The role of Finance Business Partner is responsible for;

  • The completion of monthly management accounts

  • Partnering with the managers in the business unit

  • Clearly communicating accurate forecasting and budgeting information

  • Mentoring the more junior members of the team

  • Supporting projects within several divisions of the business

  • Support with the year end and audit

  • Drive process improvement

Profile

The successful applicant for the Howdens based role of Finance Business Partner should possess the following;

  • ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Confident decision making ability

  • A proactive outlook on work

  • Mentoring skills

  • A flexible and adaptable attitude towards problems
