Your new company

My client is a not for profit organisation in Winsford. Due to the current post holder leaving the business they are recruiting this position on a permanent basis with a view to starting the successful candidate as soon as possible so that a handover can be completed.

Your new role

As a Senior Finance Officer you will be responsible for a variety of month end tasks. This will include preparing monthly management reports with detailed variance analysis, and prepare annual budgets and forecasts
for the Finance Director, budget holders and the wider management team in the organisation. You will also produce monthly balance sheet reconciliations, prepare and submit VAT returns, and plan and manage cash flow for the company. You will report directly to the Finance Director which not only will allow you to work with them and gain exposure to new finance processes, but will also give you the opportunity to further develop your skills and knowledge with a qualified Finance Director.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have to be a qualified accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA previous experience of preparing management accounts and dealing with month end processes in order to instantly add value to the team and Finance Director. You will also have some form of supervisory experience as you will have line management responsibility for the Finance Assistants in the team.
