Junior Business Analyst | East Leicester |£21k-£24k


JOB PURPOSE: Reporting Reporting and Analysis Manager, this is a key role supporting with the administration of invoicing to the client; operational reporting and analysis. This is a diverse and demanding role so it requires flexibility and an ability to work well under pressure to meet business critical deadlines.

JOB DUTIES: The role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities and activities, including:
Invoicing Activities

  • Co-ordination of supporting information and data for invoicing the Client.
  • Prepare monthly Client invoices within specified timescales, processes and in line with contractual and other Client agreements.
  • Coordinate response to the Client on open queries to ensure Invoices are paid.
  • Maintain commercial tracker spreadsheet with all invoicing and SSR activity, producing weekly, monthly and ad hoc report to ensure all activities are correctly billed.
  • Assist the Operational Reporting and Analysis Manager with the review of additional funding requirements (SSRs) from the Client and SSR renewal.

Reporting Activities

  • Prepare monthly performance reports against contractual or other agreed targets.
  • Support the Operational Reporting and Analysis Manager with preparation for regular Client and Internal reviews on performance & Projects.
  • Prepare analysis to drive operation decisions as part of Project support; or queries from the Client or Internal Leadership team.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Be logical and methodical with an attention to detail.
  • Excellent numerical skills - this is a 'numbers' role.
  • Excel at intermediate level or higher.
  • Good or excellent analytical abilities, including financial analysis.
  • Good communication skills, written, verbal and face-to-face.
  • Desire to understand operational processes and services.
  • An ability to prioritise workload and work well under pressure.
  • Ability to work well on own initiative.
