Job Details

Help develop the VAT practice on behalf of the firm, looking for opportunities for growth. The main focus will be to lead and provide advice for a range of key clients for the Firm, based centrally in London.

Client Details

Work with an internationally recognised Accountancy Firm with 75+ years' experience, specialising in personal, corporation tax and financial advice to some of high net worth individuals and corporations. Having their head office in the UK means, you will be working amongst higher level management and have access to high quality training and advice to advance your career.

With 190 staff based in the two offices in the UK alone, along with 400 globally, you will be working amongst the best with expertise within their areas of Practice.

Description

Key responsibilities of the VAT Manager will be:

  • Provide advice to clients and internal staff and partners in relation to enquiries with VAT
  • Provide advice/assistance to the Corporate team with VAT compliance
  • Lead Vat projects, review some VAT compliance and transnational VAT work
  • Research VAT matters and complete VAT registrations
  • Provide advice to art sector clients in relation to VAT
  • Provide training to internal staff and external clients
  • Review VAT concerns and compliance matters from Junior staff members

    • Profile

    As a VAT Manager you will need to have:

  • Experience on a wide range of VAT issues in Public Practice
  • Experience dealing with VAT Advisory projects
  • CTA Qualified or VAT qualified
  • Excellent Communication and ability to work independently
  • Exposure to supervising/managing a team
  • Demonstrated ability to manage own portfolio of clients
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Work either 9:00am to 5:30pm or from 8:30am to 5pm with a one hour lunch break
