You will have the opportunity to work as a part of the management team alongside other Tax Managers and provide support to the overall Tax team.

Assist in developing new business, build on existing client relationships through cross selling, as well as dealing with complex tax issues and structures.

Description

The responsibilities for a Corporate Tax senior Manager include:

Act as the main point of contact for clients alongside the Partner through prompt client response and management

Approving and signing off work in align with tax compliance and law

Provide support to partner on client matters and help manage group

Regular involvement of tax planning and tax issues with the Partners

Participate in proposals for new work and social events

Develop and train junior staff through monitoring performance and providing feedback

Identify new clients opportunities and build on existing relationships, develop own network

Work with the Partner to recognise business and sales opportunities

Consult regularly with colleagues and partners on technical and risk matters

Ensure compliance and quality controls are followed by the team including second Partner review

Manage portfolio of clients and control billings

Profile

The successful Corporate Tax senior Manager will need to have:

Have a strong understanding of tax law and knowledge

Demonstrated ability to deal with complex structures and tax issues

Management experience

Staff management experience

Demonstrated ability to manage own large portfolio of clients profitably

Ability to identify and source new clients and cross sell to existing clients

Demonstrated ability to work alongside other senior staff members

CTA or ACA qualified

Post qualified experience
